On March 16, the reporter learned from Xinjiang Oilfield that the efficient development of ultra-deep complex gas reservoirs in the southern margin of the Junggar Basin has achieved important results, and the cumulative production of natural gas in the Tianshan gas field has exceeded 1 billion cubic meters, marking a new leap forward in the development technology of ultra-deep and ultra-high-pressure complex gas reservoirs in China, and adding "confidence" to ensure national energy security and people's livelihood.
Tianshan Gas Field is located on the southern edge of the Junggar Basin and is the core block of Xinjiang Oilfield to increase natural gas storage and production, and will be developed and constructed in February 2021. The gas field is a typical ultra-deep and ultra-high-pressure clastic condensate gas field, with a gas reservoir depth of more than 7,000 meters, a formation pressure coefficient of more than 2.0, complex geological structure, dense reservoirs, and no mature precedent to follow. In this regard, Xinjiang Oilfield Gas Production Plant No. 1 anchors the goal of increasing reserves and production, adheres to the integrated model of exploration and development, sets up a special technical team to continue to tackle tough problems, and completes and puts into operation 10 gas wells.
